adultery

voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not his or her spouse.

breach of contract

is a legal cause of action in which a binding agreement or bargained-for exchange is not honored by one or more of the parties to the contract by non-performance or interference with the other party's performance.

breach of the covenant of good faith and fair deal

In contract law, the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing is a general presumption that the parties to a contract will deal with each other honestly, fairly, and in good faith, so as to not destroy the right of the other party or parties to receive the benefits of the contract.

dishonest

a : behaving or prone to behave in an untrustworthy or fraudulent way.

false pretenses

When an individual commits the crime of false pretenses, they misrepresent a fact in order to acquire someone else's property. Obtaining property through false pretenses is a crime, punishable in most states by fines and imprisonment.

fraud

is a broad term that refers to a variety of offenses involving dishonesty or "fraudulent acts". In essence, fraud is the intentional deception of a person or entity by another made for monetary or personal gain.

intentional infliction of emotional distress

is a tort claim of recent origin for intentional conduct that results in extreme emotional distress. Some courts and commentators have substituted mental for emotional, but the tort is the same. Some jurisdictions refer to IIED as the tort of outrage.

misappropriation

a : the action of misappropriating something; embezzlement.

Misrepresentation

the action or offense of giving a false or misleading account of the nature of something.

punitive damages

or exemplary damages are damages intended to reform or deter the defendant and others from engaging in conduct similar to that which formed the basis of the lawsuit.

a : the act of stealing; specifically : the felonious taking and removing of personal property with intent to deprive the rightful owner of it

thief

a person who steals, especially secretly or without open force; one guilty of theft or larceny.
